ITINERARY

(subject to change)

Before the retreat

Prior to our time together in Costa Rica, we will gather online over Zoom to get to know each other better, set individual and collective intentions, and go over all of the details in preparation for the retreat.

January 4

Upon your arrival in Costa Rica, settle into the serene surroundings of Casa Luna and begin to unwind. In the evening, we will gather for a welcome dinner where you'll meet fellow retreat participants, and enjoy a delicious meal as we embark on this transformative experience together.

January 5

Our day will begin with a yoga practice to awaken our bodies and minds, before an invigorating cold plunge. Following a light meal, we will participate in a transformative mushroom ceremony, deepening our connection with ourselves and the abundant nature around us.

January 6

The day will start with a breathwork session that will contribute to successfully integrating our experience in ceremony. After brunch, we will spend the afternoon at the beach, before heading into town for dinner at one of our favourite restaurants.

January 7

We'll start the day with a serene sunrise at the beach, embracing the tranquility of the early morning. Upon our return to Casa Luna, we'll immerse ourselves in silence and stillness, fostering inner peace and reflection. In the evening, we'll gather for a transformative cannabis ceremony, deepening our journey of healing and connection.

January 8

Our final full day together will start with a yoga practice, before spending the afternoon by the pool. We will enjoy a rejuvenating massage, and gather for a closing dinner.

January 9

Following a nutritious breakfast, we will say our goodbyes and begin our journey back home (or somewhere else in Costa Rica for those extending their trip).

After the retreat

Following the retreat, we will gather online over Zoom for 2 integration calls. Integration is a crucial part of the ceremonial experience (with or without plant medicine), as it makes space for us to apply what we have learned into our day-to-day life.

MEET YOUR GUIDES

DAVINA & DANIEL
Retreat Facilitators

We have been working as a team since the day we met 17 years ago. Together we have built businesses, an international career as wedding storytellers, and a family and life that we are grateful for every day. We left our life in Canada in 2021, answering a call to set off on a new adventure in Samara, Costa Rica with our two magical children, Max and Charlie. Today we enjoy a life rich with community and communion with nature and continue to work as a team to create and guide transformative ceremonies and host retreats at our home and abroad.

Plant medicine has been an important ally for both of us throughout our individual journeys of healing and self-discovery and we are honoured to assist in bringing these experiences into the lives of those who feel called. It is a privilege to act as a bridge for those who may benefit from sitting in ceremony with these deeply healing medicines.

LUCYNE & DEVA
Medicine Guides

Lucyne is a Certified Integrative Psychotherapist with years of experience at the Priory Hospital in London. She now specializes in Psychedelics, Family Constellations, Breathwork, and Sound Healing.

Deva is a Shamanic Practitioner who has spent the past two years holding ceremonies and creating nurturing spaces for Beckley Retreats. She is a trained Biodynamic Body Psychotherapist, Breathworker, Sound Healer, and Yoga and Meditation Teacher.

Their individual journeys have led them to study with indigenous peoples across Hawaii, Peru, Colombia, Costa Rica, Mexico, and Brazil, integrating these teachings into their own healing and weaving it into their work. Together, they are dedicated to creating a safe, loving, and transformative space for awakening. Their ceremonies, enriched with singing and harmonies, gently guide participants back to their hearts.

I (Daniel) met Lucyne & Deva as part of a retreat in the Netherlands. Along with two other facilitators (Hannah & Gregorz, seen in the photo), they held the most loving space as we dove deep into our work with the sacred mushroom. Their presence, and their songs, guided my journey in such a beautiful way, and I’m so grateful for the opportunity to share their medicine with others during this retreat.

“Words don't begin to describe this incredible experience. The level of thought and detail stood out in every way. Deep respect and gratitude for sharing this gem with guests!”

CASA LUNA

Surrounded by the jungle, and overlooking the Pacific Ocean, Casa Luna is an intimate oasis that holds a really special energy for grounding, healing, and transformation.

“Working with Daniel was a safe place for me to open up about my problems, my traumas, my bad habits, good habits, good experiences, with other men in a safe container, something I thought prior was not possible for men.

To hear others share their stories, and realize that we are all going through difficulties, liberated me of many harmful concepts I had imposed on myself. This experience has changed my relationship with myself and others, especially in how I show up for my family life as a father and a husband.”

- Vlad

“Davina is a real inspiration to me in embodying the divine feminine. She not only knows her own feminine energy well, she radiates femininity in her presence.

She has inspired me so much to look for that divine feminine within myself, as I was often been hiding it in this world. During Davina's ecstatic dance class I met my divine feminine. Her class was so beautiful, full of love and held with care and joy too. I felt so free and liberated. Davina, thank you for your true gift to this world and your beautiful essence.”
